As a part of their redevelopment plan ONGC had initiated this project
in the Mumbai High South Field. The contract was awarded to the consortium
of Larsen & Toubro and DOEIL in April 2007.
The contract value was INR 114.08 Crores of which INR 62.17 Crores was
towards the DOEIL's scope of responsibilities. The objective of this project
was to enhance production of crude by modifying the existing facilities,
which meant modification of sub-sea and top side structures and production
related modifications on six of the existing well platforms.
DOEIL's scope of work covered the pre-engineering survey and inputs for
design engineering, transportation, providing marine spread, offshore
installation both above and underwater and post construction surveys.
DOEIL enabled swift completion of this project due to its in-house integrated
expertise in marine, diving and topside services.
